According to a post on Asselby’s Facebook page, the factory is unable to process a local farmer's crop of peas. They will be ploughed under in a few days, but, in the meantime, anyone can go and pick them… which is why I have a shopping bag full of sweet, freshly-picked pea-pods to enjoy.
