A tape has emerged of an hour-long phone conversation between Donald Trump and Georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensperger. Trump tried to persuade Raffensperger to “find” enough votes to overturn Joe Biden’s win in the state. “I just want to find 11,780 votes”, he said, which would have allowed him to beat Joe Biden… by a single vote! After he’d failed to persuade Raffensperger to overturn the result of a free and fair election, Trump threatened him with legal action. Before ending the call, Raffensperger said “Respectfully, President Trump: What you’re saying is not true”.
