Martin Amis… and now Rolf Harris: two of my heroes gone within 24 hours. The creepy Mr Harris seemed to prefigure his own demise in the lyrics of his most famous song, Tie me kangaroo down. Altogether now… “Tan me hide when I'm dead, Fred, tan me hide when I'm dead". As for his rendition of Two Little Boys, the Christmas No 1 in 1969, the less said the better.
